Our Growth-

As our district expanded, so did our responsibilities. Nearly 15 years after opening, we took a major step forward by adding part-time paid staff to better meet rising service demands. In 2024, we opened our third fire station—an 11,800-square-foot facility on US Highway 401 North—significantly increasing our response capabilities.
Today, NWHVFD is staffed by a dedicated team of:
• 11 paid professionals
• 45 active volunteer firefighters
Together, they uphold the same values of service and commitment that sparked our founding over three decades ago.
We currently operate three fire stations strategically located throughout the district to ensure fast, effective response times:

1. Station 1 (HQ)– 6015 Christian Light Rd Fuquay Varina NC 27526

2. Station 2 – 3120 Cokesbury Rd Fuquay Varina NC 27526

3. Station 3 – 8300 US-401 Fuquay Varina NC 27526

Our Services & Equipment-
We respond to a wide range of emergencies with a modern fleet that includes:
•3 Engines
• 3 Brush Trucks
• 2 Tankers
• 2 Boats
• 1 Rescue

• 1 Pumper
• 1 UTV
We also operate in partnership with Harnett County Emergency Services to provide 24/7 EMS coverage for the area.
